Ferry

Terms for buyers

These terms apply when you buy a digital product from a store that runs on Ferry. Ferry is software; the party selling to you is the store owner (the creator). Your rights as a consumer under Vietnam's Law on Protection of Consumer Rights 2023 are not narrowed by these terms.

Updated 10 October 2026. Draft, not yet reviewed by a lawyer.

1. The parties

Ferry is operated by Đinh Nguyên Khánh (sole proprietor), email hi@getferry.store. Address and tax number: being updated.

  • Ferry – provides the sales page, checkout, bank-transfer reconciliation and digital delivery on the seller's behalf. Ferry sells nothing and never holds your money.
  • The seller (creator) – the store owner, who enters the sales contract with you and is responsible for the product, its price, the refund policy and invoices.
  • You (the buyer) – the person placing an order on a store's checkout.
2. Account

You do not need an account to buy. To see your orders again and re-download files, you log in with a link sent to the email you used at checkout; the link works once and expires after 15 minutes. Keep your mailbox safe: whoever opens the link is in your account.

3. Ordering and payment
  • Payment is a bank transfer through a VietQR code, straight into the seller's bank account. Ferry charges you nothing extra.
  • Every order has its own transfer memo. Keep it unchanged so the order is matched automatically; a transfer that does not match is handled by the seller by hand.
  • An order is confirmed when the bank reports the money. A transfer that arrives after the QR code expired still counts. A short transfer leaves the order waiting until the rest arrives; an overpayment still confirms the order and the seller returns the difference.
  • The price shown is the final price you pay, in Vietnamese dong, tax included where the seller says so.
4. Delivery of digital products
  • As soon as the order is confirmed you receive an email with download links, and you can re-download from your account page.
  • Download links are valid for 12 months from purchase and are for you alone; do not share them.
  • Some products grant time-limited access. When it ends, access stops; you may buy again if you wish. Nothing is charged automatically.
  • Event tickets are QR codes tied to the order, scanned at the door, with a use limit set by the seller.
5. Refunds and complaints

The refund policy belongs to each seller and is stated on the product page. Because digital products are delivered immediately after payment, a seller may decline a refund once you have downloaded, unless the product is faulty, not as described or could not be delivered.

  • Step 1: contact the seller at the email shown on the checkout or in the confirmation email. Sellers answer within 7 working days.
  • Step 2: if that does not resolve it, email hi@getferry.store with your order code. Ferry verifies the transaction and helps both sides negotiate; Ferry cannot refund on its own because it holds no money.
  • A refund is a bank transfer from the seller back to you; access to the product is then revoked.

You may complain to a consumer protection organisation, the competent state authority, or sue in court under the Law on Protection of Consumer Rights 2023.

6. Your licence to the product

A purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the product, unless the seller states a different scope. You may not copy it for resale, share it publicly or remove copyright notices. Intellectual property stays with the seller.

7. Prohibited conduct
  • Using someone else's payment details or email.
  • Sending transfers with forged memos to obtain access to an unpaid product.
  • Attacking, probing or interfering with Ferry's systems.
  • Sharing download or login links with others.

Ferry may revoke access when it detects a violation and will inform the seller.

8. Ferry's responsibility

Ferry is responsible for the software working: recording orders, matching transfers and delivering the files the seller uploaded. Ferry is not responsible for the content, quality or legality of a product, or for the seller's promises. To the extent the law allows, Ferry's liability for an order does not exceed that order's value. Ferry is not liable for interruptions caused by force majeure or by banks, SePay or infrastructure providers beyond its reasonable control.

9. Personal data

How your data is collected and used is described in Ferry's privacy policy. The seller receives your email, name and invoice details to deliver, support and file taxes, and is responsible for protecting that data as the law requires.

10. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by Vietnamese law. Disputes between you and Ferry are first negotiated, then brought before the competent court in Vietnam. Ferry may update these terms; the version that applies to an order is the one in force when it was placed. Contact: hi@getferry.store.
