Who is the seller?
You are. Buyers buy directly from you and pay straight into your bank account. Ferry provides the selling tools and charges 5% per successful order.
Which payment methods are supported?
Buyers scan VietQR in their banking app or make a bank transfer, and the money goes straight into your bank account. Buyers don't need a credit card or an account.
Who issues invoices to buyers?
You do, because you're the seller. Ferry emails buyers an order confirmation and gives you monthly revenue reports to help you invoice and file taxes.
What do I need to get started?
A SePay account (there's a free plan) linked to the bank account you receive into, then connected to Ferry with an API token and a webhook. It takes about 10 minutes, with step-by-step guidance in Settings → Payments.
How many products can I list?
Unlimited products and unlimited orders.
Is it secure?
Money goes straight from the buyer's account to yours; Ferry never holds it. We never store buyers' bank details, and payment happens inside their own banking app.
Where do I track my revenue?
In the dashboard: every order, your revenue, this month's running 5% fee and your fee invoices, updated in real time and exportable.
What does Ferry charge?
5% per successful order. No subscription, no setup fee, and Ferry adds no other fees. Example: on a 100.000đ order you receive the full 100.000đ in your account right away, and pay Ferry 5.000đ at month end. If you go beyond SePay's free plan, you pay SePay's fee directly to SePay.
When do I get paid?
As soon as the buyer pays, straight into your bank account. The 5% fee is totalled at month end and you pay it by VietQR within 7 days.
How are refunds handled?
You transfer the money back to the buyer yourself, then mark the order as refunded in Ferry. The 5% fee on that amount is credited back on that month's fee invoice.
How are my taxes handled?
You're the seller, so you issue your own invoices and file taxes on your revenue. Ferry gives you monthly revenue reports with CSV export, so you or your accountant can file faster.
What if I want to stop selling?
You can remove your products at any time. The 5% fee on orders already sold is still totalled on the month-end invoice as usual.
